Big thankyou to Bill and Shaye for sponsoring Chloe Little with feed and shaving to take to Ireland, on her first International Dressage competition, with UK Dressage U21s, competing were Englang, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Chloe did very well, being placed in all her classes, she was best team scorer in her team gaining 70%, giving the team an overall 6th place and was 2nd best Junior individual rider of the competition.
Many thanks again to Bill and Shayne fit their support.

Dear Shayne & Bill,
Just a quick email to thank you for the time that Lightning spent with you. We are very impressed with your facilities & the kind & friendly manner in which you greeted us every time that we popped in to visit Lightning.
It was so nice to deal with such a well organised yet friendly stud, we will certainly recommend you should anyone be looking for any coloured stallions, we have often received comments about Lightning (When she's all fit & clipped out) about what a smart cob she is, so we hope that all goes well now so that we can get the same comments about her foal.
I hope that I shall be able to bring Lightning up to one of your shows later on in the summer so that you'll get a chance to see her all "up together"
We will keep in touch & of course would love you to visit once Lightning has had her foal.
Thanks again for taking such good care of her, she means a lot to us & our family.
Kindest Regards
Carla & Richard Godwin (Tuesday 28th May 2007)

I was at your show today with a friend and while waiting for my sheets, I watched the Elementary class.
The first horse to go did the most beautifull test and many people in the box area including myself complemented the rider.
I was amazed when having watched the other competitor who did not even exicute some of the movements was given a score of 67% plus and beat her.
Has there been a mistake or are we all bad judges?
Regards,
Julie Smith (18th June 2006 @ 14.45)
Unfortunately I was not able to actually watch this class but have noted your comments.
Although we actually book the judges we have no jurisdiction over them. We trust them to judge what they see on the day as I do when I judge a class.
Although we may not agree with their judgement we are at their mercy because at the end of the day the judges decision is final.
Regards
Shayne Snow.
P.S. This will be posted to our comments page.
P.S.S. We have investigated this test fully and now we are prepared to offer to do the test again.

Dear Bill & Shayne,
Just a note to say thank you for a wonderful morning spent at your lovely place competing in the 28th August 2005 dressage competition. Everyone was really friendly competitors and judges alike and the atmosphere really relaxed. This place is highly recommended for the shy people amonst you thinking about competing in dressage. Will definately travel over the bridge to compete again.
Thank you very much.

Dear Bill & Shayne,
Thank you so much for your help and allowing us to use your fantastic facilities last Friday. The general feedback from riders and parents was 100% positive and all agreed that the show ground was excellent. I do hope you will allow us over again for our next show. I have been passing your schedules around and I hope that our pupils fully support your events.
The Head here is adamant that the riding continues with our own shows and that we also enter Inter School events such as Stonar and Hickstead. We are having a meeting with him next Tuesday and one of the things I am going to suggest is that it is imperative that the girls have some training outside their normal individual lessons so they start to work as a team and that any weaknesses can be addressed before Stonar in September. (I think we maybe pushing our luck to look to Hickstead in August - I'd be game but then I'm like that!!)
With this in mind, in theory, would a few team training session at Willbeard's be a possibility with you chaps as team trainers and if so what would the implications to the school in costs and timings be? It would be great to be able to put this to the Head if you felt it was something you wished to get involved with and Liz being were cosy with the press would ensure that she name dropped Willbeards at every given opportunity!!
Whatever your decision, on a personal level I had a hoot - your dogs are to die for and your coffees not bad either. I hope someday before I'm old and grey I can ring up and say to Shayne I've got a horse, lets go on a long ride and give me blisters!!!
With kindest regards

Just a quick note to say thank you for a lovely day yesterday. It was so nice to come to a well organised, professionally run competition - you could certainly teach a few things to our event organisers over the bridge!!!
We'll definitely be back, so please keep us posted of your events.
Had a bit of a nightmare journey back, we had to hire a lorry 'cause ours is having a new floor, and ended up having a puncture in one of the tyres - guess what - no spare!!
It took the person we hired it from 2 hrs to come and get us, so ended up getting back home at 4.30 instead of about 2.30 pm!
Thanks again and see you soon

Just a quick note to say thanks for your assistance in sorting out our UK Chasers Regional Finals Dressage Entries.
Phil said you were very helpful once we had found where you were via your web site, which is very impressive and easy to use!
I'll let you know as soon as possible if I will have to withdraw my entry - injuries from recent fall pending.
Many thanks once again

hi there team...i would just like to say how impressed i was with your set up ..not just your yard but your show as well.
The way it was all laid out and how friendly you all were ( if only everyone at other shows was the same).
Unfortunately due to an inconsiderate rider my day was cut very short due to scaring my horse and causing him to get entangled in his lead rope causing nasty rope burns to his front leg and him going lame, and i only did my 1st class ( 2ft 6) even though he did knock one down, ha ha. any way despite all that it was a very nice show and all being well i shall see you on sunday june 6th.
i am looking forward to the rest of the year here to. OH and a special thanks to bill ( the man taking the money in the caravan ) what a star you are. SEE YOU SOON.
regards mark pritchard. Monday 31st May 2004.

Just a quick note to say thank you for a lovely day on Sunday, and thank you to your team of people who ran the show and made us feel most welcome.
Also the score board looked great?
You people are doing a great job keep up the good work.

Yes I received the trophy etc. - thankyou very much. I will let Catherine know re. start time at the weekend.
I had a bad riding accident a while ago, and competing at your competitions has given me the confidence to get back into it. With 4 metal plates holding my pelvis together I tend to get quite stiff and tight and didn't think I would be able to compete again. Coming to your centre, with its quiet and relaxed atmosphere has made a big difference. Thankyou.
